You can never be sure what is going to happen when it comes to doing kids together. It rarely - if ever - goes to plan. But then thats the fun of it! There was much fighting over who got to hold bub and more than just a little bribery involved - but the results were well worth it.
I have no doubts that little Banjo will be one very loved boy : )
I can not believe that these images were shot in the middle of July - middle of winter!! You could never tell. It was the most beautiful sunny afternoon. Bec and Craig will be getting married in later this year. We were lucky enough to get a gorgeous afternoon to catch up and meet the family. More of their story to come in October…
Unlike his poster boy brother : ) Will did not want to sleep - there was just so much to see and absorb. But we persisted and it paid off. Wills newborn session took place on the same day mums maternity session had been scheduled - just he was on the outside instead : )
This busy mum owns the beautiful online store green goat. If you have not heard of it you really should check it out! Its a fantastic place to source traditional, educational and the sometimes quirky toys and gifts for children and babies. When updating the website she wanted something fun with her two children. It was a very noisy and fun session - and most importantly a lot of hugs : )
When mum originally contacted us she was a little coy - she didn’t really want us to know what we were in for - four children under the age of four. There was no need to worry though - these kids were just gorgeous. And everyone managed to keep clean…for a little while : )
Meet the beautiful baby boy Oliver.
He slept almost the entire time, waking for a brief moment right at the end of the session.
This was a surprise portrait session for mums birthday - the results were stunning.
For three teenagers that hate being photographed they didn’t do too badly : )
We have had a huge run of baby boys in the studio over the last few weeks.
First up, meet Jackson, who was a mere 6 weeks old when he visited the studio.
No chance of sleep with this little man - he was fighting it off the whole time : )
Little Isobel slept through this entire session - nothing was going to wake her from her slumber. We couldn’t let that stop us though.
Isobels grandparents were visiting from the UK to spend some precious time with their new family addition.
The first photo is Isobel with her grand dad - I absolutely love this moment between them both.
Little Miss Mia was in tears when I arrived for this portrait seesion - the outlook was grim. It didn’t take too long to turn the mood around : ) what would photographers do without teddy bears? By the end of my stay she was working it like a true professional.
